Elevator for anaphora

Photo: Dominik Krolikowski

Elevator for Anaphora arose from the study of automatisms. The piece is a stimulus-response to a society that reproduces itself biologically, culturally and digitally in order to optimize itself. A classic match between physical and audiovisual doubles mutates into a celebration. In the rhythm of motivation, aversion and exhaustion it exposes the dialectics of automatism: The desire for control is equal to the desire to give up control. The production searches for the physical condition for which pattern thinking and conservative behavior are the only logical consequences. The choreography shows a swarm of loose human features that deliver a spectacle as if by magic.
